the voice of hydrogen and fuel cells in Australia

In May 2010 the AAHE, in conjunction with Business Events Sydney, won a bid to host the World Hydrogen Technologies Convention (WHTC) in Sydney in 2015. The WHTC is a biennial event organised under the auspices of the International Association for Hydrogen Energy (IAHE). The first WHTC was held in Singapore in 2005, followed by Monicatina Terme (italy) in 2007, Delhi (india) in 2009, and this year (2011) it will be held in Glasgow (Scotland) in September.
We are currently seeking to engage a Professional Conference Organiser for the 2015 conference. The AAHE is forming an organising committee to oversee the conference organisation, and will be
seeking sponsors, exhibitors, and presenters.
Further details will be made available in the coming months.
The year 2015 has already been highlighted by the major vehicle
manufacturers as the year when hydrogen fuel cell vehicles will be
produced in commercially significant numbers.
Already some countries have plans in place to develop hydrogen
infrastructures for the servicing of new vehicle fleets, and over the
next few years numbers of stationary hydrogen fuel cell systems
are set to expand considerably.
For these reason the 2015 World Hydrogen Technologies
Convention promises to be a significant event for Australia
in the global development of hydrogen energy.
